ABOUT OUR TRAINER

Business owner and head trainer, Britany Long, is world renowned for her work in animal behavior. With over 30+ years in the field, she is able to skillfully guide each client in the right direction to meet their training goals. Britany started in dog training at the young age of 6 years old with her first golden retriever, Macy. She went on to compete and attain several obedience titles on that dog by the time she was 8 years old. This early passion grew into competing in multiple areas with her own line of golden retrievers along with owning and training the American Kennel Club’s youngest trick dog ever. She established this feat at only 7 weeks and 2 days of age! Britany then went on to complete a degree in Animal Behavior from Susquehanna University with a fellowship at Bucknell University. She ended up completing the world’s first and largest study on Context Specific Overmarking in Dogs. In the midst of it all, she decided to explore a career in animal training for the tv and film industry. Currently, she has over 20 credits in television and major motion picture productions under her belt. This includes but is not limited to: A Man Called Otto, Hocus Pocus 2 and The Black Phone.

Britany and her understudies are currently accepting clients who are looking for behavioral assistance with their dogs or cats. For more information, give us a call!
